About the event

The 2025 World Rowing Under 19 Championships will be held in Trakai, Lithuania, from August 6-10. Known as Lithuania’s rowing capital, Trakai offers a stunning venue on Lake Galvė, surrounded by picturesque landscapes and historical landmarks like Trakai Castle. The event will welcome young athletes from over 65 countries, celebrating their skill, determination, and sportsmanship. Participants will compete at a venue with state-of-the-art facilities, ensuring an exceptional experience for all. This prestigious competition highlights fair play, cultural exchange, and the future of rowing talent. Volunteers play a vital role in making the event successful, providing support and hospitality to athletes, officials, and spectators. World Rowing delegates Matt Evans and Pascal Jolly visited Trakai this week and, together with members of the organising committee, planned the 2025 World Rowing Under 19 Championships, which will take place in August. 

We would like to thank the Mayor of Trakai District Municipality, Andrius Šatevičius, and his team for the warm welcome, as always.
